Do Your Homework: Focus on Your Mindset First
The foundation for excellence in any area of life, including sales, begins with your inner self.

Success in any aspect of life, particularly in business, is not a matter of luck. It requires from persistent effort and meticulous preparation. Much like the 'BTS' (Behind The Scenes) , this preparation involves strategic planning, a profound understanding of your market, and a deep awareness of your own mental strengths. A fundamental principle for achieving this success is 'Do your homework first.' This encompasses more than just gathering data or technical work; it signifies a comprehensive approach that integrates both mental and physical preparation.
Preparation of Mind: Understand Your Mindset First
Eliminating Nervousness:
sales conversation can be stressful for most of the people especially if your just started,
While techniques like deep breathing, visualization & mindfulness can effectively manage anxiety & facilitate smoother sales conversation but they are for short term
Does that enough?
One of my personal favorite techniques for long-term success is to cultivate the mindset of detachment from the immediate pressure to close a deal, letting go of the pressure shifts your focus to build a more valuable relationship with your clients.
Don’t let the Nervousness and fear consume you…
Avoid the Comparison Trap
Don't get caught up in comparing yourself to others. Focus on your own unique strengths and the value you bring to the table.
Remember that everyone's journey is unique, and external validation should not define your success.
Become Aware
Low confidence can lead to self-doubt, fear of rejection and ultimately poor performance, pay attention to the thoughts running through your mind, especially before and after sales conversations, are you telling yourself things like,
“I’m not good enough”
“It’s difficult I can’t do this”
Once you identify the negative thoughts, ask yourself, Is this truly accurate? of course No
Reframe your thoughts and focus on your strengths and capabilities, instead of thinking I’ m not good enough try thinking, I have the product knowledge and I can answer everything regarding to my product so I need to be confident
Don’t Go Broke to Win Deals: It Doesn’t work That Way
The first step is to cultivate a growth mindset, Identify and acknowledge your weakness, write them down to gain a clearer understanding of the areas where you need to grow and improve
